Luis Blanco Urgoiti, lawyer and secretary-general of AVEQ-KIMIKA.

Specialised in Industrial Law, for 22 years he has supported companies from the Basque Chemical Sector in its commitment to continuous improvement regarding the environment and safety, based on strict regulatory compliance.

He is a member of the Governing Board of FEIQUE and of the Environment Commission of CONFEBASK.

AVEQ-KIMIKA, and Luis himself, collaborated with Ihobe in the original drafting of the regulation that would later lead to the UNE 14.006 standard, in a pilot project to assess its application to the eco-design of chemical products.
