
Head of Design Area
Product designer, degree in Fine Arts at UPV/EHU, Leioa; Master in Product Design at ELISAVA, Escola Superior de Disseny, Barcelona; and scholarship in Product Design at DZ Centro de Diseño, Bilbao, Bizkaia Provincial Council.
She has worked as a designer for companies such as Kettal Barcelona as well as on specific projects with the companies Casual Play, Figueras Design and HP.
Since 2008 she has worked for the design area of the company GITMA, carrying out design and development work on new products for street furniture, children’s playgrounds and urban leisure as well as the manufacture, maintenance and quality management of existing products. In 2014 she became the head of the Area, with responsibility for it.
She works to generate innovative products that feature observation, social sensitivity and knowledge of urban needs. Throughout her professional career she has accumulated great experience in the urban furniture sector, creating within GITMA the new concept of urban equipment as a tool for education and social change. She carries out this change daily, working closely with companies and local councils in the generation of new urban spaces.
